immediately stop the government's plan to sell foreclosed homes to investors for rental properties.

Created by M.B. on January 10, 2012

On Monday, January 9th 2012 the Federal agencies disclosed their plans to sell the backlog of foreclosed homes to investors for use as rental properties. These plans must be cancelled and the agencies should immediately plan on selling those homes to the previous "resident owners", and if the homes had been investment properties, sell those homes to investors. Any homes not repurchased by the former owners should be resold to any purchaser, not investors only. Targeting the sale towards investors (bulk sales) denies the ordinary citizens in this country equal protection of the law and is a removal of their due process rights to buy government homes at auction from H.U.D.

End this discrimination and restore homeowners to their homes.
