Stop the illegal land grab of sacred native american land in the Tonto National Forest. Specifically, 'Indian Leap'..which is considered sacred native american land even though it is not part of the native american reservation. This is a new petition…the old petition garnered over 104,000 signatures before it was closed. Over 57 affiliated tribes are against this. This measure was tacked onto the Defense Authorization Act of 2016 at the last minute by Se, John McCain and Jeff Flake…both Republicans from Arizona. The normal policy of negotiating with the 566 native american tribes was by passed and their measure was covertly attached. It is wrong and needs to be stopped! Sacred Native American areas that are spiritually sensitive need to be respected…and cannot be brokered!
