We petition the Obama administration to put an immediate halt to the blanket monitoring of cell phone calls and any other digital transmissions of legal citizens of the United States. Also, we petition you to also begin the process of repealing the illegal surveillance laws enacted with the Patriot Act.
As was stated by Benjamin Franklin: "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." It is now time to reverse the wrongs done to the people of the United States by repealing the Patriot Act, and stop all blanket monitoring of American citizens.
