Egyptian President Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood party have instituted a policy of quashing dissent by utilizing military forces; firing upon and killing unarmed citizens who are protesting the draft constitution's failure to provide for the civil rights of all Egyptian citizens, the makeup of the revolutionary government itself, and censorship of the Egyptian media.
The U.S. has provides $2 billion annually in foreign aid to Egypt, and has done so since 1979. Immediate cessation of this money will pressure the Morsi administration to control the Muslim Brotherhood's dictatorial and terrorist tactics against its own citizens.
