Expensive foreign wars have bankrupt the United States and the continued costs of deploying our military all around the globe are now completely unsustainable. Cutting federal programs which are a vital safety net for citizens while maintaining a bloated international military presence is immoral, unnecessary, and reckless. Defense contractors have pillaged our treasury for long enough. In our current fiscal crisis, the government must curb this wasteful spending of taxpayer's money.
We don't want more wars. We don't want an American military empire. We want a government by and for the People, which always acts in its citizens' best interests. Rampant defense spending is not in the interest of the People of the United States.
