Americans want the Keystone XL pipeline built.
TransCanada’s Keystone XL would carry up to 830,000 barrels per day of tar sands oil from Alberta, Canada more than two thousand miles to refineries on the U.S. Gulf Coast. The pipeline would cross six American states including Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas providing thousands of jobs and a much needed boost to our struggling economy while lessening our dependence on Middle Eastern Oil.
The nation needs crude oil from Canada and jobs for a sluggish economy — but also because it would deliver $800,000 or more a year in additional property taxes to the local school district.
