If we as a nation can not agree on how to solve or debt crisis, we should begin withdrawing aid and support of other countries. Why would we pentalize our Senior Citizens before taking all other actions to protect thoes who have served and protected this nation.
Then start working on what programs to cut to repay the funds to Social Security that were " borrowed " and ensure that Congress will repay funds that were borrowed from Medicare. Take these 2 programs off the negoation board. We believe our elected oficials have the abillity to solve the debt issue without threatining the people who elected them.
