US Immigration system is not update since so many years. it still allows lottery based green card where people can come to US from different countries. It has some advantage like diversity but it has disadvantage also like US will get less skilled people. US is economic leader country so it need better economy to driver world. it needs skilled people to work for high tech companies and some science level companies.US needs several laws to attract multiple talent from world so it can be leader in talent as well. Canada,UK and Australia has updated their immigration laws time to time to attract talented people.US needs Immigration reform to change 20 year old immigration laws.US needs immigration reform for skilled people as wells for diversity people also. US needs both not just diversity.
