Immigration reform without specific change to border security is just another amnesty scheme that prejudicially benefits some geographic regions disproportionately while the majority of the globe’s other nations adhere to quotas. Local/county/state/fed governments accommodate new immigrants who have only an implied English language requirement, in a dual language system, and at a great cost to taxpayers. The unifying factor of the greatest social experiment in the world has been strength in diversity, welcoming all equally, and a very small requirement: having the respect to learn English. Immigration reform must include an English-speaking requirement, border control solutions, and immigration parity in numbers that benefit all nations equally and not just one small region of the globe.
