Immigration should Come to Visit Prisoner for Renunciation and Deportation to Save US and New York Taxpayer Money

Created by K.S. on December 30, 2014

Convicted Sex Offenders in the US prison system cost an average of $45,000 per year. These costs are covered by taxpayers.
A third of paroled offenders are re-incarcerated within three years. US citizens do not want paroled sex offenders living in their neighborhoods.
Prisoners that are not US citizens, meet parole qualifications and wish to renounce their citizenship, should be entitled to meet with immigration officers for renunciation. Immigration officers refuse to teleconference or visit with prisoners wishing to renounce their citizenship.
This petition is requesting this interview/teleconference be available to qualified prisoners, so that they can be deported from the US. This will save considerable money to tax payers and also keep paroled sex offenders out of US neighborhoods
