Joe Biden is undoubtedly one of, if not the, most effective Vice Presidents in United States history. While the modern vice presidency started with Walter Mondale, the Vice President didn't start taking on a large role until Al Gore helped Bill Clinton craft financial and environmental policy, and Dick Cheney made important policy decisions for George W. Bush.
Joe Biden, on the other hand, has taken the vice presidency to a whole new level of awesome. He has helped negotiate the bipartisan fiscal cliff deal when all else failed, led a task force on gun control, and maintains friendships with most Republicans.
We therefore ask the Obama Administration to immortalize the Vice President on Mount Rushmore, which would help create jobs and give Joe the recognition he deserves.
