Impeach and/or Recall Sen. Roger Wicker for Violating his Oath to Support & Defend the Mississippi and US Constitutions.

Created by T.C. on April 11, 2013

On April 11, 2013 Sen. Roger Wicker voted to proceed with extensive, dangerous gun control legislation in bill S. 649. The proposals are in direct contradiction to the spirit and letter of the Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights. Further the Mississippi Constitution specifically states "The right of every citizen to keep and bear arms in defense of his home, person, or property, or in aid of the civil power when thereto legally summoned, shall not be called in question." Art. III, § 12 (enacted 1890). His blatant disregard for the rights of citizens of Mississippi and more broadly the United States, reflect a willingness breach his oath of office and the public trust. This must be addressed. He must be impeached or recalled immediately before he causes further harm to our Rights
