Honorable President Mr. Barack Obama, Honorable Ladies and Gentlemen of the Congress of the United States of America. In the past the citizens of Puerto Rico have sent a couple petitions with no positive outcome. In this occasion we call to the american consciousness to help our island which is part of the nation. We are American Citizens born in a territory. We are no immigrants, we are the sons and daughters of America born in a territory a paradise island. We don’t choose the citizenship or place where we are born. We all have to open our hearts and join forces for a better living.
