impeach the members of congress based on dereliction of duty due to the failure to address the US fiscal cliff issues

Initiate proceedings to impeach those members of congress who have failed to address the spending cuts and tax issues associated with the fiscal cliff. The members have placed their personal agendas at a higher priority than those of the general population. They have engaged in brinksmanship rather than taking the time to develop a cohesive plan to resolve the financial issues presented to the country. It may make for good theater on MSNBC and FOX news but they are wasting the time, energy, and emotions of the country.
