As of Midnight 1/15/13 NY Senate has passed the "NY Safe Act" which tightens firearm regulations to an unprecedented level. This move by Gov. Cuomo has taken firearm regulations too far. We law abiding citizens have been unfairly punished with this bill. When the State Assembly passes this bill, it will become law.This was introduced 6 minutes before the vote and left no time to be read. In it passing it will turns thousands of New Yorkers who hunt target shot and use the second amendment into criminals for no other reason then to position Gov Cuomo for a 2016 White house run.
