Throughout our history, we have had presidents that have used executive powers to do what they thought were decisions that were detrimental to our nations security and safety. This special executive option was given to The President in order to allow an immediate response to a crisis concerning the security or safety of our republic.
Our founding fathers did not create a democracy, they created a republic in which the federal government has but a limited role and states govern themselves.
These wise men lived so long ago, yet they foresaw what we are now dealing with and what must be stopped, and in their wisdom, have provided us with the means to weigh, measure and judge those who claim to lead us. These people are our servants, not our masters.
