Mr. obama made lots of promises to the American people in 2008 during his campaign. He promised to lower the federal deficit by 4 trillion dollars, he promised affordable health care, he promised not to raise taxes on the middle class. When he was senator obama he said this:In 2007, then Senator and candidate Barack Obama was in Spartanburg, SC and told a pro-union audience the following; ”If American workers are being denied their right to organize and collectively bargain when I’m in the White House, I’ll put on a comfortable pair of shoes myself, I’ll will walk on that picket line with you as President of the United States of America. Because workers deserve to know that somebody is standing in their corner.”
