This petition is to impeach Barack Obama for the assassination by drones in 2011 of 3 United States citizens, namely Anwar al-Awlaki, born in New Mexico; Samir Khan, a naturalized U.S. citizen; and Abduhlrahman al-Awlaki, the 16 year old son of Anwar.
The two adult men were targeted for their connection to al-Qaeda through spreading anti-American sentiments with writing.
The boy of 16 was neither an al-Qaeda affiliate nor a member of the President's kill list, and he was killed in a separate drone strike. His murder was justified by White House Press Secretary Gibbs when he said the boy should "have a far more responsible father."
The drone strikes are a clear violation of the fifth amendment. Obama has failed to uphold his oath to defend the Constitution and is guilty of murder.
