While the concept of free speech is imperative to our nation and its freedom, a standing US Senator should not be allowed to publicly defame another head-of-state. To do so potentially jeopardizes foreign affairs, and does nothing to improve the outlook of US citizens to foreign cultures.
This is conduct unbecoming of a US Senator, and he should be removed from office for it.
