I would like the American Government to consider giving asylum to some of the 200,000 refugees of Kakuma Refugee Camp, some of whom have been residents since as early as 1991.
I have spoken to the editor of a refugee run media outlet kanere.org within Kakuma Refugee Camp. His name is Qaabata Boru and he can and will give a detailed desciption of the human rights abuses refugees suffer within the camp aswell as his fears upon resettlement in Somalia.
I am Australian and have called Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull about this issue also.
Maybe you consider resettling some of the people who have suffered such grave tradgedy that they had to flee their homelands.
