Technology corporations have long used "bug bounty" programs to incentivize both employees and outsiders to discover flaws in their system and reward those who brought these to light. It's about time government began to do the same.
We petition the government to establish a "bug bounty" program for wasteful government spending. This would reward employees for submitting actionable areas of spending that are frivolous and shouldn't be paid for by hard earned taxpayer dollars. Any ideas that are acted upon would be rewarded discretely, protecting employees from any backlash from supervisors.
Let's introduce some efficiency back into the US government!
