The technology already exists to implement 100% clean, renewable, pollution-free energy for the US. Existing technologies for solar, wind, magnetic, body-heat, ocean-wave, and other forms of natural energy harvesting are very advanced and getting better every single year. If the government took the lead on implementing clean energy technologies across the board, the costs to individuals would be within reach overnight.
In the process, everyone whose livelihood comes from fossil fuel or nuclear energy should receive paid training and a new job in clean energy. No reason not to use their energy expertise for the good of all.
The technology exists; it is the political will that is missing. America can become the leader in the next major human advancement. Implement clean energy policy now!
