Electronic voting machines are a much needed change to today's voting system. With the current system thousands of paper ballots are thrown out and/or recounted due to voter inefficiency in every election. The electronic voting machines would be a bit costly initially but in the long run it would be very cost efficient because there would no longer be a need for the government to purchase the paper ballots. The whole election process would be more efficient with electronic voter machines implemented too because it would be quick and easy to send results in.
