There have been 494 people killed by police since January 1, 2015. That is roughly three people a day since the beginning of the year. By comparison Canada has seen roughly 110 deaths at the hands of police officers since 1932, while the United Kingdom has had less than 60 deaths at the hands of police since 1920. We have a problem with police brutality and it is time that this becomes a national issue. We the people petition President Barack Obama to implement by executive order an independent investigative councill to investigate every county and city police department in the United States. The amount of racial profiling and police brutality has reached a level that is no longer invisible! Action must be taken immediately. Officers should not get immunity for crimes!
