A gun amnesty means people can hand in guns they should not have and receive cash instead. During an amnesty we want people to hand in:
Illegally-held guns and ammunition
Imitation firearms and air guns used for criminal purposes
Other unwanted guns and ammunition including air guns and imitations
Unwanted guns that are no longer needed
Guns that are old and no longer work.
Delivery may be made or taken to any police district, station, or central headquarters, or by summoning a police officer to the person’s residence or place of business. Set up a website to offer information.
Ask congress for $10 billion for this 10 year continuous federal program that should be administered by Homeland Security
