implement a Federal ban on the material known as Styrofoam (Polystyrene) to protect our various National environments.

The petition would contain the following: Santa Clara County has already along with Santa Cruz County banned retail of Styrofoam products for a very clear reason due to it toxic emissions. Styrofoam needs to be banned at a Federal Level to eliminate any further harm from inhalation of Styrofoam emissions. The bottom line is that Styrofoam is nearly impossible to degrade naturally and should not be placed into our living environments.
