Implement a Financial Transaction Tax

Created by K.T. on September 22, 2011

Tax every financial transaction (ex. trade) that is made in the stock market at a very low percent. Doing so will help curb the rampant speculation that is responsible for inflating the prices of commodities such as oil. Hundreds of transactions go through daily so this will generate some much needed revenue.

What do you do with all that new revenue? Use it to fully fund the public university (not private) education of every American student in the future.

Sounds outlandish but this is actually entirely possible and would cost about 50-100billion/year.

Let's pay it forward for the next generation so they don't get it as bad as we did.
