Time to Make the Public Safer with Guns Free Zones in Public Places, such as drug free zones have and smoke free places have as well. The Sup Ct has upheld the public safety is more of a concern than an individual right when it comes to protecting the public as a whole. Responsible Gun Ownership laws such as non loaded weapons in vehicles is commonsense and pointing them at people or in city limits loaded or being discharged explains this. This would be an extension or expansion of just that. There is no need for Guns in Schools, Town Hall meetings, political events, Shopping Malls, Public Restaurants, More lives have been lost due to guns being allowed in these places than not.
