as the title says, it should be possible to start a referendum that forces the government to do what the people ask of them.
The government and the people living in their country are growing apart. There are only 2 choices when it comes to 'how do I want my country to be ruled'. Therefore, the people should have more influence. Unfortunately, the people's voice is not always enough for the big guys in the white house to listen. For that reason, I'd like to see that a law like this gets to be implemented in our system.
For obvious reasons, this can not be the case when considering taxes, but in most other cases this would be a great 'human right' to have!
