Implement Legislation to Improve the Lives of Orca Whales at SeaWorld

Created by E.K. on October 18, 2013

Presently the facilities and policies at the theme park SeaWorld are terribly ill suited for the wildlife kept in captivity there. The enclosures for the large marine mammals must be rebuilt to be much larger and more interactive. Tillicum, the psychologically damaged male killer whale responsible for the deaths of trainers, must no longer be used in performances. And their policies which separate mothers from their young must be changed. SeaWorld is a multi billion dollar corporation, and yet they cannot budget to respect the most basic humane needs of the wildlife who earn them their billions. Considering the extreme intelligence of marine mammals, such as dolphins and killer whales, it is of the utmost importance that they change their policies to best benefit these remarkable beings.
