Implement mandatory drug testing for the elected officials of the United States Congress.

Created by A.T. on February 12, 2016

As elected leaders representing the people of their home districts, the members of the House and Senate comprise the largest collection of lawmakers in the United States. As such it is vital that they are held to a high standard of integrity. I'd like to propose that a condition of their continued membership in the decision-making system of government of our country be proof of their respect for that system; they should submit, at least once each election cycle, to a random drug test administered by an independent auditing service.
