It's time we get current with the rest of the world by adopting the metric system. We have the time and we have the human resources to make this happen for America, better than at any other point in our recent history. Not only will it benefit us now, by bringing our educational experience more in-line with that of other nations, but it will also make it much easier for current and future generations of Americans to compete in the maths and sciences against nations already using this more-streamlined approach to learning.
