For many years the United States was teaching the metric system in schools as it was legalized by congress. However, since then it has not been implemented outside the classroom.

Please sign this petition in order to send the message to the White House that WE NEED TO CHANGE to the metric system. This is an important measure that cannot wait any longer. Our scientists and engineers have difficulties communicating internationally and our students are lost between two systems.
