Implement a "Nascar Rule": politicians must wear the logos of their top corporate sponsors during all public appearances

Created by A.B. on April 26, 2014

The Supreme Court's Citizen's United ruling and the subsequent McCutcheon ruling have opened the floodgates for wealthy Americans to buy political influence that serves their economic interests. In the wake of those disastrous rulings, all Americans deserve to know exactly which monied interests they are empowering when they cast a vote.

In the interest of complete transparency, all politicians should be required to display the logos of their top corporate sponsors every time they appear in front of a camera.

Call it the "Nascar Rule".
