America needs more costume-based holidays; once yearly is too infrequent. A moment of creative inspiration may come at any time regardless of season. If one of these moments happens to come between the months of November and August, it is likely that it will be forgotten and never come to fruition. Americans deserve to flex their creative muscle, as it were, and a costume-based holiday near the date of April 31st (six months after Halloween) is the perfect outlet for such flexing.
