The core of the proposed Program is to leverage both disabled and retired law enforcement and military resources to protect our children in every school across America. Our children deserve the security of knowing that events such as those of 12/14/12 will never occur again, and what better way to do so than to leverage our everyday heroes of the American military and police force. As we have all seen and heard numerous times over the past decade, American soldiers are returning home from active duty and battle, and they cannot find a job. Is there a greater sense of purpose and pride that one could feel than serving to protect our countries youth? The financial impact should be limited based on the fact that these resources presently draw some form of salary & they are grand protectors!
