Pay should not increase above what an average American income is. You have been voted in to do a job that none of you are accomplishing. Decrease salaries immediately to a starting salary of $44,888.16. This was the national average according to your Social Security administration. As a servant to the United States of America your salary should never be above the national average. Also remove the breaks Congress takes throughout the year. You will now follow the same 365 day calendar all of us follow. If Congress should fail to pass a budget or go into a standstill again all salaries are frozen immediately.
