The current administration as well as past administrations and congress have often debated what should be cut from the tax payers spending. These are usually military funding, social security, medicare, etc. and to raise taxes to help fix the national debt. Things that will effect the average Joe. One thing that is not routinely discussed is the pay of congress, the president, and many other politicians.
I for one think it's about time the feds took a pay cut to better our economy. Why you might ask? Well, what exactly are they doing to 'earn' our tax dollars to fund their high class lives? My vote is to cut their pay in half. Considering the fact that their paychecks are ONLY funded from money out of ours, I think it's only fair that we have a say in their pay.
