Implement pay for performance standards for all federal employees within 6 months.

The federal government has toyed with pay for performance reforms for decades to no meaningful effect. Federal employees are still promoted based on time in office, and remain virtually immune to losing their jobs for poor performance. It is time that federal employees had their pay meaningfully and objectively tied to their performance the way that regular taxpayers do. This petition asks that the Obama administration commit to and implement meaningful pay for performance reforms within six months, via a combination of executive orders and legislation.
