Tier 1 sexual offenders should not be added to the registry for life. These people have served their prison time and registry time. Tier 1 offenders are non violent. To date, there is no further break down of crime committed vs. registry duration. The govenment is making is hard for these reformed persons to live a normal life. The Government should allow them to register for the mandated time at sentencing. Following this, a physological evaluation should be sufficient to determine removal from the registry at the originally mandated time given. Taking their rights away to live a normal life is wrong.
