Implement provisional I-601 waiver immediately so that families remain united during status adjustment process.

Created by J.L. on December 18, 2012

Currently, candidates for status adjustment must return to their home country (sometimes for years) while immigration processes paperwork for eligible candidates. This rips families apart, potentially leaves spouses and children economically vulnerable, and makes no sense. These waivers need to be processed while the candidate remains with his/her family inside the United States. Thousands of families would find relief if this simple process were implemented. Time to get the job done NOW- we can't wait for more political posturing. Families are suffering in the face of rediculous bureaucracy that holds up the possibility to legalize close family members.
