I think that if the voting system in the United States were ranked, it would provide more accurate results. My proposal is to allow voters to rank candidates in order of preference -- following this, an automated system would count the votes, drop the candidate with the fewest votes, and then transfer the votes to the voter's next choice. This would allow people more freedom in choosing candidates.
