Implement school authorized training programs to educate and equip teachers for hostile situations.

Created by L.J. on December 23, 2012

We have repeatedly seen how laws intended to remove firearms from school zones have failed to prevent mass shootings. Under the jurisdiction of the Gun Free School Zone Act of 1995,Title 18,Section 922(q) states the ban does not apply if the participant is in, or part of, a program approved by the school. Follow the example of so many other institutions that have successfully implemented these voluntary programs and seen positive results. Provide our teachers with not only the right to bear arms but also additional training in crisis management and hostile situations so they can respond appropriately and prevent additional loss of life.
We have already seen that our teachers are willing to die for our children, let’s provide them with training so they won’t need to.
