Implementing an educational program within all schools that explains the issue of gun control from all sides with an unbiased perspective is a necessary step in ending the divisiveness that has gripped us on this vital issue.
We have been unable to find a compromise because we have been caught up in misunderstanding and prejudice that has hindered all attempts to find a suitable answer that both creates the highest level of gun safety within our nation and, at the same time, protects personal freedoms.
We need an educational program that gives both sides of the issues so that students, who are the future lawmakers, politicians, and gun-owners, understand the arguments for and against gun control, and can then form an understanding of the issue that is free from bias and prejudice
