Implement services for male victims of Intimate Partner Violence, and reform to prevent Protective Order Fraud/Perjury.

Created by S.C. on April 07, 2015

Implement services to aide male victims of violence to ensure they are assured equal protection. And foster an environment that male victims can come forward without automatically treated as the perpetrator

All PFAs should be bi-directional, especially preliminary orders obtained with little to no vetting of the facts that deny the respondent civil rights for usually 2 weeks and leaves little time to prepare defense or obtain counsel and could deny the respondent access to evidence if they are forced out of the home.

Burden of proof is that of the petitioner, not the respondent.

If a petitioner acts contrary to testimony used to justify the protective order, such as initiating contact when they requested none, they should be charged with perjury.

PFAs are shields not, not sword
