Implementing term limits would eliminate the so called "Career Politicians" and in my opinion, greatly reduce the wasted time our President and congressional members spend on their re-election as well as their exposure to the current corruption of the system.
How can a "career politician" who has been serving for 20+ years still be in touch with what the people truly needs.
Congress and the President are elected "by the people, for the people, of the people" and it is the "of the people" we are missing by having the same members elected year after year.
Since this directly affects members of congress, this decision should not be made by congress and should be decided by a popular vote by the people. Reason being, why would members of congress vote themselves out of a job?
