Utility Bills are ongoing and permanent bills that we will need for our lifetime. Utility companies should not be able to shut power off to anyone without going through a loss mitigation team in which sole purpose is to work with the power company and the customer to find or negotiate a resolution. Utilities should not be disconnected unless all workout options have been exhausted in an attempt to bring the customer’s bill current.
We are asking for the The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, or FERC or any organization in the Whitehouse to address, investigate and implement a solution to the way Utility needs and Bills are transacted within the public sector. Utility Bills are on the rise in an economy that is in the decline. The people need some consumer protections.
