Voting is a right but it comes with the responsibility to be informed. Those who participate in our elections should have a basic understanding of our history, founding ideals and government structure. We expect immigrants petitioning for U.S. citizenship to pass a fair and standard test. Every voter must be able to do so as well.
Manipulation of election processes by local and regional powers must be ended. Let us develop standardized election processes applicable to every election in every jurisdiction.
