Implement a system for citizens to directly approve or reject legislative projects submitted through the internet.

Created by R.A. on September 03, 2012

This project basically proposes a legislative reform in which citizens would be able to actively participate in the endorsement or rejection of legislative projects created and submitted by Congress, through direct vote via the internet. Instead of leaving law-making entirely to the usual parliamentary process, law-makers would submit projects to the examination and direct vote of the People of the United States. This would guarantee that the process effectively conforms to the common good, and is not vitiated by big corporate interests.

The idea is to create a truly inclusive and democratic system of self-governance, by incorporating the common citizen into the day-to-day process of policy making. It is not right that law-making is controlled by big corporations and a wealthy few!
