Implement a tax on the entertainment industry to directly support public services such as police and health services

Created by S.M. on February 11, 2013

The entertainment industry, including film, immoral music, professional sports, nightclubs, bars, and pornography should have a hefty excise tax levied upon all profits of their industry and figureheads.

These industries, in many ways, cause an undue hardship on society in the form of increased crime, degraded health, broken homes, death, property destruction, directly impacting public services such as police, health, and social services.

For these industries' hefty burden on our morally-failing society and those services in place to provide what help they can, an equally hefty tax burden in upwards of 25-35% or more must be placed upon these and any similar industry to fund the destruction they cause.
